The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1978, the House Committee on Energy became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The committee assumed the functions of the Select Committee on Energy. The Committee reviews legislation on the conservation of energy and energy policy issues.
Summary:     This series contains recordings of House Energy & Utilities Policy Committee (2009-2010), Committee on Energy (1979-1982, 2007-2008), and Select Committee on Energy (1979-1980) meetings. The recordings contain discussion on public utility services of electric, gas, water companies, sewer companies, gasoline, petroleum, solar power, nuclear power, and energy efficient building codes.
