The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1997 the House Committee on Elder Affairs and Long-Term Care became a standing committee with permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee addressed such issues as assisted living facilities, Alzheimer disease facilities, and access to courts.
Summary:     This series contains recordings of Elder and Family Services Policy Committee (2009-2010), the Committee on Elder and Long-Term Care (2001-2002, 2005-2006), and the Elder Affairs and Long-Term Care (1997-2000) meetings. The recordings contain discussion on assisted living facilities, Alzheimer disease facilities, access to courts, and others of interest to the elderly and those with the need of long-term care.
