The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The series contains recordings of House Committee on Criminal Justice (1970-1996, 2005-2006), Committee on Crime and Punishment (1997-2000), Committee on Crime and Law Enforcement (1969-1970), Select Committee on the Death Penalty (1972), Select Committee on Organized Crime (1977-1978), and Select Committee on Juvenile Justice (1981-1982) meetings. The recordings contain discussion on criminal law, criminal procedure, law enforcement, public safety, gun control, sentencing guidelines, the death penalty, substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, and animal cruelty.
