The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the subject files of Richard W. Youngman who was Program Consultant for the Division of Economic Opportunity.  The files document the activities of the Division through reports, minutes, correspondence, memoranda, travel logs, and activity reports.  The Division worked with Florida counties to access and meet the needs of the disadvantaged, especially in the areas of health and dental care, education, vocational technical training, employment, housing, and municipal services.
    The files contain reports on various Florida counties and cities.  They also contain information on special Division programs such as the Governor's Operation Concern (1968) and the Florida Plan for Apprenticeship and Training.
    The records prior to the Division of Economic Opportunity's creation in 1967 contain materials associated with Youngman's previous work with employing the handicapped and as Director of the Florida Mediation and Conciliation Service.
