Summary:     This series contains the program files from 1974 to 1977 of the Division of Community Services and its predecessor agencies, the Division of Economic Opportunity and the Division of Migrant Labor. It documents the policies and state programs for community services, such as the Community Action Program, the Migrant Labor Program, and the Neighborhood Youth Corps/Work Experience Program.  The files contain correspondence, reports, speeches, meeting files, legislative reports, and grant materials.  Some specific issues covered in the records include:  migrant and seasonal labor; the Community Services Act of 1974; the Community Service Trust Fund; the Farm Labor Committee; Title XX of the Social Security Act; Indian tribes, specifically Seminole and Miccosukee; and ACTION/VISTA volunteers.
