Summary:     The series contains hospital reports from 1923 to 1961 for the Florida State Hospital.  The ward and hospital administrators submitted statistical reports at the end of each month summarizing their activities.  At the end of each year, these statistics were compiled into an annual report.  The records contain monthly and annual reports for 1923 to 1961 and biennial reports for 1940 to 1960.  The statistics are divided by sex and race and document the number and types of patients and their treatment and care.  The reports summarize information submitted on the activities of the general hospital, including the operating room, the X-ray and physiotherapy departments; the tuberculosis hospital; the insulin and electroshock therapy wards; and the ward dressing rooms.
