Summary:     This series contains public health workers training subject files, 1962-1987, of the Health Program Office, and its predecessors, the Division of Health and the State Board of Health. The records include correspondence, reports, and training manuals.
    It documents the residency training programs for nurses and public health workers, administrative intern programs, scholarship programs, and staff development for county public health units. Included is statistical information on the educational leave with pay program for post graduate training from 1946 to 1971.  It also includes files on the the Jacksonville HRS Resource Center, its closure in 1982, and the relocation of its health education materials and media collection.
