The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the directors subject files of the Division of Health, 1969-1976, and its predecessor agency, the State Board of Health, 1931-1969.  The series encompasses a wide variety of types of materials, including abstracts of State Board of Health minutes, annual reports, long range plans, manuals, correspondence, memoranda, speeches, reports, publications, and a research grant application.  It documents a variety of public health issues, including pollution, communicable diseases, county health departments, and child welfare.  It also includes files related to Wilson T. Sowder, State Health Officer from 1945 to 1974.
