Summary:     This series contains the mental health programs subject files from 1969 to 1975 maintained by the Office of the Secretary, Dept. of Health and Rehabilitative Services.  The records document the activities of the Division of Mental Health and its interaction with the Secretary.  The Division administered the community mental health, drug abuse, and alcoholic rehabilitation programs.  The records include correspondence, memoranda, reports, and newspaper clippings.
