The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the Florida Model State Project files, dated 1969-1974, maintained by the Dept. of Health and Rehabilitative Services.  The Florida Model State Project was funded through a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Health, Education and Welfare and administered by the Dept. of Health and Rehabilitative Services.  The purpose of the project was to develop and design a social services information system which would be transferable to other states.  In 1974, the project was transferred to the U.S. Virgin Islands.  The records include correspondence, reports, studies, and contracts.
