	Summary:	The series consists of permitting files from 1939 to 1975 of the Dept. of Environmental Regulation, and its predecessor agencies, the Dept. of Pollution Control, the Dept. of Air and Water Pollution Control, Florida Air and Water Pollution Commission, and the State Board of Health. It contains applications, permits, correspondence, reports, and support materials. It documents the regulation of the construction and operation of facilities in regards to air pollution, water quality, sewage treatment, and other environmental conditions. The series is incomplete. It includes only companies located in Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Santa Rosa, Sarasota, Seminole and Sumter counties.
