The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series contains the health and physical education files maintained by the Division of Instruction of the State Dept. of Education from 1930 to 1951.  It documents the development of health and physical education curriculums and programs in the Florida's elementary and secondary schools.  Included are workshop programs, bulletins on health education, handicapped programs, information on narcotics and alcohol, and related correspondence.  The bulk of the material are the records of Joe Hall, the health consultant for the Division.
