The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series contains the minutes of the State Textbook Commission and its successor, the State Textbook Purchasing Board, from 1911 to 1969.  The records document members present, topics discussed, and actions taken.  The minutes list the subjects/grades, titles, publishers, and prices for the recommended textbooks.  It also contains the textbook committee reports to the State Board of Education from 1970-1971.
