The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series documents the financial status of Florida's public school system.  It contains various statistical reports, including assessed valuations and income from various millages of each county; financial ability of each county (which was computed by using the index of financial ability and the index of taxpaying ability); income and expenditures of the 67 counties including expenditures of the Florida Department of Education and the state's contribution to the teachers' retirement system; average instructional salaries by county; estimates of public school statistics for all states (such as enrollments, aggregate and average teachers' salaries, total current expenses, etc.); Florida's tags and revenue by Florida Motor Vehicle Commission; and Florida census statistics and population bulletin.
