The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series documents the Teacher Education Centers program in Florida from 1972 to 1979.  The records include minutes, correspondence, special reports, conference programs, county files, teacher training materials, and other miscellaneous material documenting the development of the program throughout the Florida school districts.  The records include a card index to the collection.

Ownership/Custodial History:     The records were transferred to the University of Florida Archives in 1979 by Professor Wm. H. Drummond, College of Education, who was instrumental in forming the Centers and who maintained the records through a federal grant which ended in 1979.  The University Archives transferred the collection to the Florida State Archives.
