The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Early Childhood Tri-State Teacher Training Project focused on training teachers in non-traditional teaching methods and activities for early childhood education.  This approach used more individualized learning experiences than traditional methods.  The tri-state area included Florida, Georgia, and Alabama and was organized into regional training clusters.  The project was funded by an education development grant from the United States Office of Education and administered by the Florida Dept. of Education on behalf of the education departments in Alabama and Georgia.
Summary:     The series contains the records of the Early Childhood Tri-State Teaching Training Project from 1968 to 1974.  It documents the activities of the training clusters in the tri-state project.  The records include correspondence, reports, contracts, minutes, programs, budgets, evaluations, and questionnaires.
