The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical Note:     The IN-STEP (Integrated Nutrition-Social Services to Elderly People) Project was a federally funded project (1972-1975) to demonstrate and evaluate four management models that provided comprehensive, integrated nutrition and social services to persons sixty years of age or older.  The demonstration sites selected were in Chicago and in three counties in Florida (Dade, Palm Beach, and Pinellas).  The Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services through its Division of Family Services (Ch. 70-255, Laws of Florida) and then its Division of Aging (Ch. 73-343, Laws) administered the projects in Florida.
