The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Title: Media 1979-11: Stephen Foster Memorial and Folk Festival, ca. 1954; 8:30; B&W; silent: Opens with scenes of the miniature "Belle of the Suwannee" stern-wheeler on the Suwannee River, Old Folks at Home sheet music, and a bronze statue of Stephen Foster. Exhibit pieces in the museum are filmed including two Howard Chandler Christie paintings. A young woman holds Foster sheet music, which is followed by close-ups of the corresponding dioramas in the Foster museum. Scenes from the Florida Folk Festival round out the film. There are brief clips of Seminole Indians, choirs, storytellers and musicians. This film has shrinkage and cupping damage. Produced by the Stephen Foster Memorial Commission.
