The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the speech files of Hugo D. Menendez, Secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment Security during administration of Governor Martinez.  The speech files cover a broad range of topics including:  worker's compensation, job training, victim's rights, and employment for the disabled and handicapped. Also included are speeches before the Senate Committees on Appropriations and Insurance.
    In addition, there are speeches to political organizations and Chambers of Commerce.  While the majority of speeches are by Hugo D.Menendez, there is also a folder of speeches by the Deputy Secretary, Aletta Shutes.
