	Biographical/Historical:	The Sunshine State Governmental Financing Commission (SSGFC) was created in November 1985 under the State of Florida's intergovernmental cooperation laws to provide common financing to a limited number of qualified governmental entities in Florida, pursuant to Section 163, Florida Statutes. It dissolved by resolution on April 5, 2023. The Commission consisted of appointed representatives from each of its member governments, primarily municipalities, and the representatives elected a five-member board of directors to oversee and administer the Commission's financing programs. Its mission was to serve the capital financing needs of its members and other participating public agencies through a cooperative loan program.
	Summary:	This series contains meeting minutes of the Sunshine State Governmental Financing Commission. The records begin with the commission's organizational meeting in October 1985 and conclude with its final meeting in March 2023. The majority are from Board of Directors meetings, although some years include the Annual Membership meeting minutes. These records document the discussions and activities of the Commission during the course of its operations.
