The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     Established in 2008, the Lakeland Youth Alliance (LYA) is a non-profit organization that provides a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in Polk County to gather, connect, and discuss issues and concerns. LYA provides adult facilitators to advise and supervise youth-led events and discussions.

    The Polk County Pride Celebration is a community celebration held annually in June, which is National Pride Month in the United States. It is coordinated by several organizations, including the Lakeland Youth Alliance and PFLAG Polk County. The first Polk Pride event took place in 2015.
Summary:     This collection contains photographs of the Polk County Pride Celebration, an annual event organized by the Lakeland Youth Alliance. Charles E. Wolf (b. 1980), a professional photographer from Lakeland, photographed the events. The images depict Polk Pride attendees, performers, staffers, vendors, and speakers.
