Biographical/Historical:     The Sanitarians' Registration Board was created in 1959 (Ch. 59-191, Laws) and abolished in 1978 (Ch. 76-168, Laws).  Its duties were to issue certificates of registration to sanitarians meeting the educational and experience requirements in the biological and sanitary sciences.
Summary:     The series contains the minutes of the Sanitarians' Registration Board from March 18, 1969 to April 27, 1978.  The minutes document the topics of discussion, decisions made, and actions taken by the Board pertaining to sanitary laws, rules, and regulations.  The names and certificate numbers of approved applicants are also included in the records.
