	Biographical/Historical:	The Division of Elections was created as part of the Dept. of State in 1969 (Ch. 69-106, Laws). Prior to 1969, election records were maintained by the Office of Secretary of State. The Division administers all elections (primary, special, and general); publishes and maintains the Florida Administrative Code; and serves as the official records custodian of oaths and bonds, county ordinances, municipal charters and annexations, proclamations, extraditions, executive orders, and the official laws of Florida.
	Summary:	This series contains the Local Laws of Florida-Working Copy as filed with the Department of State, Administrative Code Unit. The majority of this series contains bill backs and the chapter law. Some contain the bill backs, proof of publication, the chapter law. Local Laws are also known as Special Acts.
