Biographical/Historical:     The Union Bank of Florida was created in the early 1830s to provide capital to early settlers of the territory. The Union Bank of Florida offered territorial "faith bonds" in order to finance operations in the territory/ Unpaid debts from selling the "faith bonds" led to the bank being closed by the territorial legislature.
Summary:     This collection includes two contract bonds from the Union Bank of Florida in Tallahassee.
