Biographical/Historical:     Orien E. Sullivan (1822-1876) was appointed postmaster for the community of Moseley Hall in Madison County in 1854. He was married to Elizabeth L. DeLaughter (1828-1878). Their daughter Almera E. Sullivan (1855-1941) married another prominent Moseley Hall resident, Edward B. Sanders (1848-1923).

Summary:     This collection consists of the letters, legal records and financial records of postmaster Orien E. Sullivan, his son-in-law Edward B. Sanders and their families in the community of Mosely Hall.
