Summary:     The series contains the orders issued from the Motor Transportation Division of the Florida Public Utilities Commission and its predecessor agencies from 1929 to 1964.  It documents the Commission's regulation of trucking companies, moving and storage companies, bus lines, and other motor transportation common carriers.  The topics covered include the applications for permits, cancellation of permits, and investigation of irregular services.
    This series is incomplete; orders between 1936-1957 are missing.  Orders covering those years and duplicate copies of the orders in this series are located in Series 959.
