The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series contains the transportation authority files of the Public Service Commission.  The files were used in  the office and by field representatives as a master reference of the names, addresses, and regulatory history of intrastate carriers that were regulated by the Public Service Commission and its predecessor agencies from 1929 to 1980.  Included are copies of orders, permits, and certificates.  Some types of companies included are airlines; bus lines; trucking companies; freight forwarders; express and postal services; taxicab and limousine services; and storage and moving companies.
