The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series contains the railroad property tax correspondence files of the Division of Ad Valorem Tax, and its predecessors, the Dept. of Revenue and the Railroad Assessment Board, from 1962-1981.  The bulk of the material is from 1975-1981.  The correspondence primarily relates to the tangible property tax and operating property tax assessment.  The Florida East Coast Railway and Seaboard Coast Line Railroad are two of the major railroad companies represented. The series includes correspondence, maps, legal documents, reports and photographs.
