Biographical/Historical:     William B. Wiley is a retired attorney in Tallahassee, Florida.

Summary:     This collection consists of photographs of people and places of Florida that William B. Wiley informally collected and assembled. Several photographs in this collection depict various industries throughout Florida, such as the cargo shipping industry in Tampa and a chemical manufacturing plant in Port St. Joe. There are several photographs document activities and functions of the Florida Forest Service and the United States Forest Service: a slash pine forest, a fire observation tower and building, wildfires and prescribed/control burns of the forests, as well as state recreational facilities and parks maintained by the Forest Service. An oversize panoramic photograph shows the destruction caused by the 1926 Great Miami Hurricane in Hollywood, Florida.
