Biographical/Historical:     Becky Bill Page Luster (1925-2003) was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Robeline, a small sawmill town on the El Camino Real (now Louisiana Highway 6) 15 miles west of Natchitoches, Louisiana. After finishing public school early, she attended Whitworth College, a private women's college in Brookhaven, Mississippi that no longer exists. She later enrolled at the University of Alabama, where she received degrees in home economics and history. Returning to Louisiana, she married John Asher Luster, and they raised in son in Natchitoches. She continued to enjoy traveling and held national office in the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Summary:     This collection consists of a scrapbook documenting a trip through Florida that Becky Bill Page took with Whitworth College classmates in April 1942. The scrapbook consists primarily of color postcards of locations along the travel route with handwritten notations about each day's sights and activities. Also included are souvenir booklets, brochures, maps, and other related items. Locations include Pensacola, Marianna, Tallahassee, Daytona Beach, Saint Augustine, Marine Studios (later renamed Marineland), Fort Pierce, Miami, Sarasota, Silver Springs, and Tampa.
