Biographical/Historical:     In 1977, the U.S. Geological Survey prepared a bulletin in cooperation with the Bureau of Geology, Florida Department of Natural Resources, and the Bureau of Water Resources Management, Florida Department of Environmental Regulation. Titled, "Springs of Florida," Bulletin 31 provides the public with background information for a thorough understanding of the nature and occurrence of springs in Florida. Researcher and author Kim H. Haag worked for the U.S. Geological Survey in Florida at the time of the document's publication.
Summary:     This collection consists of photographs of Florida springs taken in conjunction with the 1977 production of "Springs of Florida." The images are mostly black-and-white prints with annotations on the back indicating date and location. The images document the appearance of the springs and the areas surrounding them.
