The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the subject files maintained by Jack F. Shoemaker, an Executive Assistant and Resident Council for Agriculture Commissioner Doyle Conner.  Shoemaker was the primary contact person for the Department's membership in both the Southeastern and National Associations of State Departments of Agriculture.  He also served as Conner's liaison for the Southern United States Trade Association and coordinated several trade mission and good will tours.  In addition, Shoemaker worked as the treasurer for the annual Department of Agriculture legislative trail ride.  The files in this series reflect these duties and activities.
