The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 2004, the House Committee on Choice and Innovation became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The committee reviews legislation dealing with various aspects of education in the state.
Summary:     This series contains the recordings of House Committee on Choice and Innovation (2005-2006) meetings. The recordings document legislation on include student financial assistance, use of lottery funds, parental choice, class size, charter schools, scholarships, public school construction, technology, and related issues.
