	Biographical/Historical:	The "Blockbuster" Working Group was an interagency working group comprised of members from the Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Community Affairs, Department of Commerce, and the Governor's Office. The Working Group created HB 1875 which outlined the specifics in establishing the South Florida Sports and Entertainment Special District (a.k.a. Blockbuster Park/Wayne's World), allowing for the creation of a 2,300 acre multi-jurisdictional tourism, sports and entertainment special district which would have covered portions of Dade and Broward Counties and the City of Miramar. However, the park was never built.
	Summary:	This series documents the activities of the "Blockbuster" Working Group and includes correspondence from state and local agencies, environmental groups, and concerned constituents both supporting and opposing the project; memoranda; minutes; development of regional impact status reports, economic impact reports, environmental impact and wetland permit reports, and transportation reports/analyses; and proposed legislative documentation for the special district bills sponsored by Representative Steve Geller (HB 1875) and Senator William Turner (SB 2918).
