The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Solicitation of Funds Task Force was set up to review the "Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act" (Ch. 496, FS). The Task Force, which was administered by the Division of Licensing, met between 1988 and 1989.  The legislation converted state regulation of solicitations from administrative procedures to civil and criminal prosecution.  It also established a public information campaign to be administered by the Division of Consumer Services.
Summary:     The series contains the records of the Solicitation of Funds Task Force, 1988-1989.  The records include recommendations, proposed legislation, correspondence, minutes, and agenda.
