Biographical/Historical:     Buddy MacKay was elected the 14th Lieutenant Governor in 1991. He had served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1968 to 1974. He then served in the Florida Senate from 1974 to 1980. After an unsuccessful bid to the United States Senate in 1980, he was elected in 1982 to the United States House of Representatives. He served as the representative of the 6th Florida Congressional District for three consecutive terms.
Summary:     This series contains accepted invitations to events and scheduling information showing Lieutenant Governor McKay's public activities. A few files include remarks or speaking points of the Lieutenant Governor.
