The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Front Porch Florida Initiative was created in 1999 as a means to rebuild distressed communities and make them better places to live and work.  Part of the initiative is to provide educational and technical assistance to help residents plan and implement projects that will make long-term changes.
Summary:     This series consists primarily of community agreements and financial information documenting the activities of the Florida Front Porch Initiative.  The agreements between the state and individual communities for programs such as mentoring, and  econmic development.
