Biographical/Historical:     Robert Wyche Davis (1849-1929) served as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives in 1885 and served in the United States Congress representing Palatka County from 1897 to 1905. His son, Robert Wyche Davis, Jr., served as Secretary of the Florida Senate from 1929 until his death in 1963.
Summary:     This collection consists of scrapbooks and photographs documenting the political career of Robert Wyche Davis and his son Robert Wyche Davis, Jr. The scrapbooks include news clippings, political cartoons, letters, and campaign memorabilia. Several news clippings in this collection contain handwritten comments and notes about the contents of the stories.
