Summary:     This series contains files compiled by the Office of Educational Facilities in assessing the status of schools following Hurricane Andrew (August 1992).  The files include school damage reports; Red Cross procedures and contracts for use of schools as emergency shelters; school district disaster planning information; and color photographs and slides of school damage, as well as a small number of images of school shelter operations.  The series also includes general post-hurricane documentation such as reports of building structural performance, evacuation problems, and emergency response assessments.
