The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Biographical/Historical:	In 2003, the House Coordinating Committee on Public Security became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. In 2008, the name was changed to the House Public Safety & Domestic Security Policy Committee. The committee assumed some of the functions of the Select Committee on Security.
	Summary:	This series contains audiotaped recordings of the House Public Safety & Domestic Security Policy Committee ( 2008 - ); the House Coordinating Committee on Public Security (2003-2004) and the House Select Committee on Security (2001-2002). The tapes document committee and subcommittee meetings and contain discussion on legislation pertaining to domestic security, emergency and disaster preparedness, public records, and immigration issues. The tapes are not transcribed or indexed. The compact disc may be indexed, but are transcribed.
