Summary:     The collection contains ten black and white images of an unknown individual's trip to Florida in 1951. The images depict some of Florida's most popular tourist attractions at the time, including the Castillo de San Marcos in Saint Augustine, Fort Barrancas in Pensacola, the Suwannee River, and Ross Allen at his Reptile Institute in Silver Springs. The images provide evidence of places Florida tourists visited in the early 1950s as well as the condition of the historic properties at that time. The collection includes 11 negatives, nine of which are printed and two, those of the Suwannee River, which are only in negative format.
