Summary:     This series contains the original acts, resolutions, and memorials of the Territorial Legislature (1822-1844) and the State Legislature since 1845. The acts were filed with the Secretary of the Territory prior to 1845 and then with Secretary of State after statehood. The acts from 1822 to 1918 are handwritten, while those since 1919 are typed. The series is separated into two subunits, hence the oddity in numbering. The years 1822-1918 are contained in oversized boxes and volumes that did not originally have numbers; acts from 1919 to the present are contained in numbered volumes.
