	Biographical/Historical:	Sadie Adams Fraser was born in 1899 in Perry, Florida. Her sister Ruby was born in 1897 and grew up in Perry, Florida. Ruby Adams graduated from the Florida State College for Women in 1917 and taught public school in Chipley and Like Oak, Florida. Ruby met Nettie Clare Bowen in 1920 on a steam ship that ran from Jacksonville to New York, and eventually became engaged to Clare's brother Edgar, although he died before the wedding in the summer of 1923 after hitting a cow with an automobile. Newton Marion Bowen arrived in Tallahassee, Florida, from Georgia in 1874, and worked for the Floridian newspaper, eventually becoming part owner. He married Virlinda Barefoot in 1877 and they had four children, two of whom were Clare and Edgar.
	Summary:	This collection contains photographs of the Bowen family during the early 1920s, prior to Edgar Bowen's death in an automobile accident. Images include the exterior of the Bowen home and various automobiles.
