The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains records maintained by the Historic Tallahassee Preservation Board to document the Board's actions and decisions.  Within the minutes are discussions, decisions, and reported actions taken by the Board regarding historic sites in Tallahassee and Leon county.  Subjects include the restoration of the Brokaw-McDougall house, the Knott House Museum, and the Old City Cemetery.  Many of the meetings were also recorded on audio tapes, which are dated but not indexed. Also included is correspondence related to meeting minutes, reports on historic property issues, and information on the successful grass-roots effort to save the Board from elimination in 1990 and a similar, but failed, campaign in 1997.
