The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:
This series documents rehabilitation construction performed on Florida buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places under the auspices of the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives Program, Chapter 1, Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations 67. The Bureau of Historic Preservation used this series to track applications for, and determinations of, certification of these buildings as historic, and their eligibility for listing in the National Register, by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service. The series includes certification application forms briefly describing each property and providing the determinations of the National Park Service relative to that property; detailed descriptions of rehabilitation work to be done, including each type of architecural feature to be rehabilitated, date of feature, and narrative description of the feature and its condition; correspondence regarding the application; National Register of Historic Places registration forms describing the property and its appearance, interior, alterations, historic context and significance, and architectural context and significance; photographs of building interiors, exteriors, and environs both before and after rehabilitation; site maps; architectural drawings; and articles and clippings relating to the building. Also within this series are photographs, blueprints, and a report documenting the Treasure Island causeway in Pinellas county. The documentation was required as part of a survey conducted on the Bascule bridge serving Treasure Island and its designation on the National Register.
