The Committee reviewed legislation on Florida's natural resources, management of state lands, state mineral resources, state recreational areas, fisheries, game lands, wildlife management, coastal zone management, pollution, sewage disposal, waste management, beach erosion, and water resources development. This committee's functions were previously handled by the House Committee on Natural Resources, Committee on Environmental Protection.
