The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:
Summary:     This series consists of material relating to the restoration of the Historic Capitol from 1971 to 1980.  The Historic Capitol was restored to its 1902 appearance and is also referred to as the Old Capitol.  The records include reports, publications, architectural drawings, glass plate negatives, and photographs from various sources including the Dept. of General Services, the Bureau of Historic Sites and Preservation, the Historic Tallahassee Preservation Board, American Historic Buildings Survey, and several private firms.
