The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Summary:	This series contains records, correspondence, and video cassettes that illustrate the wide variety of activities and issues in which the Secretary of State is involved. Much of the series deals with the politics of Florida and the Secretary's involvement with campaign reform. There are also several folders that document at least a portion of Texas Sen. Phil Gramm's participation in the Republican primary in Florida leading up to the United States Presidential election of 1996. Legislative affairs involving the Secretary are also represented by several folders containing information on the legislation the Secretary was supporting or that would have an effect on the activities of the department.
