Summary:     The series contains offers of reward from 1895 to 1935.  Most rewards were offered for murder, but rewards were offered also for criminal assault, bank robbery, and escaped convicts.  The reward proclamation, signed by the Governor and attested by the Secretary of State, provided the date and location of the crime, the name of the parties involved (if known), a description of the crime, and the condition of the reward.  Books A and A-1 contain reward offers (1895-1935) which were either handwritten directly into the book or glued onto the pages.  Each volume contains a name index.  The box contains originals (1902-1935) with the signatures of the Governor and Secretary of State.
