The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the files of the Executive Director of the Dept. of General Services relating to the Capitol Center Complex from 1971 to 1977.  It includes correspondence, reports, architectural drawings and blueprints.  Topics include the construction of the Capitol Center Complex, including preservation of the Old Capitol and construction of the new Capitol; court cases dealing with the disposition of the Old Capitol; and alleged irregularities in proposing and building the new Capitol, construction reports, employee lists, and cost estimates.
